My next workshop is on TOOTING YOUR OWN HORN: THE ART OF SELLING YOURSELF

Many of us grew up hearing that it's best to be modest and that boasting about oneself is considered rude and impolite.
In today's work world, however, the ability to “toot your own horn,” or to sell yourself, is an important skill if you are looking for a paid job, volunteer work, an internship, or a promotion. Being too humble, especially in the United States, is viewed as lacking a sense of self-confidence or self-esteem.
In this workshop, we will discuss the cultural values and differences, as well as fears, related to selling yourself. You will have lots of opportunity to practice the art of self-promotion. By the end of this workshop, you will have the skills and ability to talk about yourself with CONFIDENCE in any situation!
